Who is keeping these attendance figures? No effing way were there 25K+ at the park. The place was practically empty. I should know. I was there. It was even more empty than the so-called 27K on the 20th. 25,000 people translates to more than half full. That means every other seat was filled. That was not the case. Maybe one out of every 5 seats. Maybe one out of every 6. Maybe one out of every 10. I was sitting in a ghost town of a section.
And the Mets still should have done something for the fans who had tickets to today's game - whether they showed up or not. You want people at the park.
