27,000? No way.

The listed attendance for tonight's game was a little over 27,000.  They must be counting ticket sales and not actual butts in the seats.  The row I was in had only one other person in it.  The 4 rows in front of me were empty.  The last 9 or 10 sections of the upper deck in left field were completely empty.  There weren't any sections where more than half of the seats were filled - and those that were even close were few and far between.  27,000?  I think not.  15,000 bodies actually through the gate would be a stretch.
